Women Justices
The recent hearings for U.S. Supreme Court nominee Elena Kagen were pretty typical fare.  But not so very long ago, the very idea of a woman justice on the high court was unthinkable.  And the “men only” club status of the court was mirrored in state courts.  Former Oregon Supreme Court Justice Betty Roberts, the first woman on Oregon’s high court, will join the JPR news team to talk about breaking barriers in the legal profession.
