The Betty Roberts portrait was unveiled after a marvelous afternoon of amazing speakers on February 13, 2015.
Here are links to coverage of the portrait and the event by the news media:

The keynote speaker of the afternoon event was Pamela S. Karlan, Deputy Assistant Attorney General, U.S. Department of Justice, Civil Rights Division. It was a wonderful wrap-up after the other speakers and presentations, reminding us of some Oregon history and the context of the Betty Roberts legacy. Click here for the full text of her speech.

Portraits of Possibilities
The legacy of Betty Roberts will be remembered and celebrated with an afternoon of short presentations by several nationally prominent women. Below is a flyer giving information about several of these speakers. You can see more about them, and the other speakers previously
announced, at www.bettyroberts.net.
These presentations will be followed with a keynote address by Pam Karlan. Ms. Karlan was the first speaker (after Betty herself) at the Honorable Betty Roberts Women in the Law Program at Lewis and Clark Law School. She knew Betty, and in her current position at the Federal Civil Rights Division, she continues the work for equity in education, opportunity, and treatment before the law.
After the keynote, the portrait will be presented, and then available for up-close viewing at a reception with wine, beer, wonderful snacks and desserts. (Just like Betty would have liked.)
Space is limited. Be sure to RSVP here.
Looking forward to seeing you there.
