Scheduling
To inquire about arranging an event, contact Betty Roberts via email at justicebettyroberts@q.com.
Justice Roberts is available for speaking at your event. She will be pleased to participate in meetings of
- book clubs,
- college classes,
- adult learning classes,
- non-profit organizations,
- and other groups
that have an interest in
- Oregon history,
- history of the women’s movement from a personal perspective,
- women’s issues in general,
- politics,
- law,
- the judiciary or
- service to the community.
The usual process is for her to discuss with you the interests and focus of your group, and so to develop an appropriate presentation.
The program could include remarks from her, including her perspective and thoughts, experiences from her life, and readings of complementary excerpts from her book “With Grit and By Grace – Breaking Trails in Politics and Law”; and then a period of questions from the group members and follow-on discussion.
Length of program could be 30-90 minutes, and timings could be during the day or evening, weekdays or weekends.
Books will be available for sale and signing at the event.
